Founding Story: Creminelli Fine Meats was established in 2007 by Cristiano Creminelli, Chris Bowler, and Jared Lynch. The Creminelli family possesses deep roots in artisan meat and cheese, beginning as farmstead producers before acquiring Salumificio di Vigliano. Cristiano’s maternal grandfather not only produced various meat products but also served as the personal chef to General Pietro Badoglio, a prominent Italian general during a tumultuous period in Italy's history. In the 1970s, Cristiano's father assumed control of Salumificio di Vigliano, marking the family's deep dive into the meat business.

Our Mission: From the very beginning, Creminelli Fine Meats has aimed to bring traditional Italian meat specialties to the American market—many of which are either rare or regionally available in Italy.
